Die Ceplac werden ab nun vom neugegründeten Institut für Landschafts- und Vegetationsforschung weitergeführt. Da dies als gemeinnütziger Verein organisiert ist, wird keine Mehrwertsteuer mehr fällig.
The Ceplac from now on will be pursued by the newly founded Institute for Landscape and Vegetation Research. Since this is a non-profit association no VAT is payable any longer.
Die Ceplac zielen nicht auf ein bestimmtes Ende ab, der weitere Ausbau erfolgt im Rahmen der verfügbaren Kapazitäten. Sie sollen mindestens einmal im Jahr aktualisiert werden. Priorität haben derzeit die Erstellung der englischen Version sowie die Revision und textliche Darstellung der Assoziationen, beide Vorgänge befinden sich in Arbeit.
The Ceplac do not aim at a certain end, the further development depends on the given capacities. They are intended to be actualised at least once a year. Momentarily the priority lies on the preparation of the English version and the revision and textual portrayal of the associations, both processes being in progress.
Demoversion/Demo version
Die Ceplac wurden auf zahlreichen Computern unter Windows Vista bis Windows 10 und unter Mac OS 10.5.7 bis OS X 10.11.5 erfolgreich getestet, sie sollten auch unter Windows XP Professional, Service Pack 3, laufen.
Unter den neuesten OS X-Versionen besteht das Problem, dass die Quickinfos teilweise nicht vollständig dargestellt werden, wodurch die Ceplac etwas schwieriger zu benutzen sind.
Testen Sie vorab die Demo-Version, dann sehen Sie, inwieweit die Ceplac auf Ihrem Computer laufen.
The Ceplac have been tested successfully on many Computers with Windows Vista to Windows 10 and Mac OS 10.5.7 to OS X 10.11.5, respectively. They should be running with Windows XP Professional, Service Pack 3, too.
With the newest OS X versions there exists the problem that some of the quick infos are not displayed completely, which makes the Ceplac a little bit more difficult to use.

Lizensierung/Licensing models
Mit der Neukonzeption der Ceplac ist auch ein neues Vermarktungskonzept verbunden. Die Lieferungen (Versionen) stehen nunmehr für sich allein, und es wird nur noch zwischen einer Einzel- und einer Gruppenlizenz unterschieden.
Die Einzellizenz erlaubt die Benutzung auf je einem Desktop- und einem mobilen Computer, die Gruppenlizenz dagegen die Installation auf je 2 bis 5 Rechnern einer einzelnen Firma oder Institution. Gebühren für darübergehenden Bedarf auf Anfrage.
Mit dem Erwerb einer Lizenz ist das Recht verbunden, zukünftige Versionen für einen begrenzten Zeitraum bedeutend günstiger zu erwerben, sofern diese wie geplant in entsprechend dichter Folge erscheinen.
Im Rahmen der Gruppenlizenz dürfen die Ceplac auch in der Lehre verwendet oder etwa auf Bibliothekscomputern für die Vor-Ort-Nutzung installiert werden. Die Weitergabe an Studierende oder andere ist allerdings nicht gestattet, sie muss durch geeignete technische Maßnahmen seitens der Lizenznehmer verhindert werden.
The actual version of the Ceplac is combined with a new marketing concept. There is no subscription model any longer, and there exist only two license forms: single user and group license.
The single user license permits the use on one desktop and one mobile computer; the group license allows the installation on 2 to 5 computers each of one institution or company. Fees for more licenses upon request.
With the acquiring of a license comes the right to get future versions significantly cheaper for a limited time, if these versions are published in rapid succession as planned.
If you have acquired a group license, you can use the Ceplac in teaching or install it on library computers for local use, too. This does not include the right to handle over copies of the software to students or other persons. So, in these cases, you have to make sure by appropriate technical measures, that it is impossible to copy the Ceplac from the respecting computers etc.

Einzelbenutzerlizenz/single user license (1 user): 210,– Euro
Gruppenlizenz/group license (2–5 users): 270,– Euro
